Mum of young cancer sufferer hopes to make final wish come true by bringing his ashes to Scotland

Zac Connolly, 11, was granted a wish from the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada  which would have allowed him to see Scotland in person.But Zac, who was first diagnosed with fourth stage high rush neuroblastoma as a two-year-old, was robbed of his dream by the Covid-19 lockdown and his poor health.Prior to Zac passing away, Scots sent postcards to Zac, who was bilingual, in a bid to help make his wish come true.After the social media appeal, he sadly passed away earlier this year without being able to make the trip across the Atlantic.Now his mum Angela has said she and his father will do their best to fulfil his final wish - as she thanked big-hearted Scots for what they did for her son.Speaking about a tribute which was made and sent.
