Mum demands refund after son's shoes left in tatters

A furious mum is locked in a dispute with a retail outlet, after demanding a refund on a pair of children's Kicker shoes. Dominque Scully, 32, forked out £74 on two pairs of Kickers for her two young tots from the retailer Wnysors World of Shoes after seeing them on an advert.

However, the mum says that her five-year-old Adam's shoes started to wear with days of him returning back to school in September.

She bought the shoes just before the start of the 2021/22 academic year, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live. The mum-of-two, from Bradwell in Derbyshire, said: "Adam came out of school with two holes in his shoes.

All the stitching had come out of both the front of the shoes. I'd just chucked his pair from Clarks away a week before he started
