Motorists urged to plan ahead as Coatbridge roads set for five-day closures in December

Two Coatbridge roads will be shut for five days in the run-up to Christmas, with motorists warned to plan ahead with their journeys.The town's Ellismuir Street, from Fullarton Street to Braehead Avenue, will be closed from December 5-9.This is to allow for the completion of carriageway resurfacing and the latter two roads are available to drivers as alternative routes.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
