Team XT18 stopped a Vauxhall Astra in Little Lever, after reports came in of possible drug use in Farnworth. After identifying and stopping the vehicle, the team performed a roadside drugs test on the driver, who failed.
The driver has since been arrested. Government advice outlines that it’s illegal to drive if you're unfit to do so because you're on legal or illegal drugs, or you have certain levels of illegal drugs in your blood.
