Jon Obika hopes Motherwell fans saw them playing with pride as they clocked up back-to-back wins, and says confidence is flowing through the team.Obika, 32, knows it’s early doors yet, but Sunday’s 2-0 win over Hearts followed up a 2-1 victory over St Mirren on Wednesday night.Obika bagged his first goal for the club in the win over the Jambos, with Blair Spittal adding a second, one minute into the second half with his fourth goal of the season.Ahead of a crucial trip to a Kilmarnock side sitting a place and three points behind them in the Premiership table, Obika said nobody is taking anything for granted.The English striker, who is on loan from Morecambe, said: “We’ve got two wins but we want more, and I know we’re going to be pushing ourselves in training.“This week we’ve been very accountable for each other, and pushing each other, and that won’t change.“We’re just focusing on ourselves but if we could win that game [against Killie] it would make a big difference.“Every game is a big game, you can see from Wednesday and Sunday that’s how we’re going to be looking, going forward.“There’s so much confidence going into the team and we’re not going to rest, that’s for sure.“The fans were behind us and I’m sure they saw the pride on Wednesday, and that we’re together.“We showed that again on Sunday, so we have to make sure we focus on ourselves as a club, and move forward.”Obika put Motherwell ahead 40 minutes into the game on Sunday, using a knee to divert Sean Goss’s shot from a Blair Spittal corner into the net.Spittal then scored the second goal, heading a Kevin van Veen cross onto the post and sweeping in the rebound.Obika laughed: “You take any sort of finish as a striker, you just want to be on the score sheet!“My
