Morrisons tells shoppers to bring their own boxes if they're buying meat or fish

Morrisons is bringing back its reusable container scheme on its meat, fish and deli counters. The service was pulled because of the coronavirus pandemic but is now available again in stores.

It means staff on its butchers, fishmonger and deli counters will ask customers if they have a container to use, instead of automatically putting products into single use packaging.

A sticker will then be placed on top of your tub with a barcode so you can scan it at the tills as normal. If you don’t have a container, you won’t be charged for using the single use packaging.
