evoke.ieEmily in Paris was definitely a Marmite Netflix series, with viewers either loving it or hating it. We thought it was a bit of fun, but we’re not going to lie — we were shocked when it was announced as one of the comedy series up for a Golden Globe in this year’s award ceremony.
The comedy which has already been renewed for a second series, is up against the likes of The Flight Attendant, The Great, Schitt’s Creek and Ted Lasso in the Comedy or Musical section.
Not only that, but Lily Collins even nabbed a nominated for her role as Emily! The model turned actress has some stiff competition though with Kaley Cuoco, Elle Fanning, Jane Levy and the extraordinary Catherine O’Hara also vying for the gong.
