This is the moment a mobility scooter driver 'held up more than 10 cars' by refusing to pull over in a one-way street while waiting for his chippy.

Footage showed 'irate' motorists beeping their horns behind the driver as he stopped in the middle of the road. A large truck and several cars got stuck behind the scooter as the driver told passers-by: 'I just want the fish and chips that I've paid for'.

The incident happened on Tib Street in the Northern Quarter in Manchester city centre last Friday (November 19). READ MORE: Teenager says she 'could have died' after falling asleep drunk with tampon in Footage showed multiple people trying to help and intervene.
