Molly-Mae Hague has been found to have broken advertising rules on Instagram with the running of a competition. The 21 year old launched a competition to win £8,000 worth of prizes on the social media site in September 2020 but admitted she had not put all entries into the draw to win.
Love Island star Molly-Mae has now come under fire from the UK's advertising watchdog who say she "had been unable to provide evidence the winners had been randomly and picked fairly." One lawyer suggested to the BBC that the authority is now looking at a wider range of cases against influencers and competitions they run online.
