MOLLY-MAE Hague has been slammed by fans after she moaned about Italy's "grim" food after being left unimpressed on her recent trip to Venice.

The 21-year-old star was forced to defend her comments on Instagram this evening after she moaned about the pizza and pasta on her lavish holiday.

Sharing a picture of an ice cream earlier tonight, the Love Island favourite wrote: "I absolutely loved Venice but one thing I will say about Italy in general… The food is actually shocking? "So controversial I know but I've been a lot of times now to different parts and I've tried a lot of different restaurants and I'm always so disappointed. "It's meant to be the home of pizza and pasta and I really can't see how!
