Mike Tindall has revealed the Royal Family were all told “you need to leave” at the end of Prince Philip’s funeral, leaving him unable to comfort the Queen.The former England rugby player spoke to Good Morning Britain on Friday about having been one of the 30 mourners allowed to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Mike, who accompanied his wife Zara, Prince Philip’s granddaughter, said that it had been tough to watch the Queen sitting on her own during the service.

Saying that he had been “moved” by the sight, he said: “I think that’s what she does, she leads by example and you say, 'amazing to see', but I didn’t really want to see it, but everyone’s seen it now. “And even after the funeral it was.
