Michael Carrick has explained why Harry Maguire is starting in Manchester United's game against Arsenal on Thursday. Maguire received a red card in United's 4-1 defeat to Watford last month and he was suspended for the Reds' visit to Chelsea.
Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly started in defence at Stamford Bridge and the latter delivered an impressive performance. Carrick named Maguire in his starting XI to play Arsenal, though, which meant Bailly was named on the bench.
