Michael Beale revealed a half-time pep talk was required for Adam Devine against Ross County, but has warned James Tavernier he should be looking over his shoulder when he is back to playing on his natural side.Devine was in at left back again with Borna Barisic being given some time off returning from the World Cup with Croatia.
The Rangers No. 44 had the freedom of Dingwall on the left flank during the first 45 minutes, but his final ball was often found lacking as the visitors struggled to create much of note.John Lundstram’s sweet strike settled the nerves before the break.

He may only be playing due to Barisic’s absence and Ridvan Yilmaz’s injury, but Beale issued a reminder of what can happen when the talented kids take their chance.“Nathan Patterson did exactly the same when James Tavernier got injured a couple of years back and we know how well he’s gone on to do now,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s early days for Adam but I don't think he’s looked phased.
