The Met Office has issued a heavy snow weather warning for Greater Manchester and other parks of the UK this week. As temperatures begin to plummet across the region, many parts of Northern England will begin to see more freezing conditions which may bring wintry showers with it.

The yellow warning states their could be 'heavy snow' across Greater Manchester from Thursday onwards. In an update, meteorologists warned: "Heavy snow has the potential to cause significant disruption on Thursday and Friday.
