Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister Samantha Markle is reportedly suing her sibling for defamation a year on from her revealing US interview with Prince Harry.The 57 year old is said to be taking the Duchess of Sussex to court after documents were apparently filed claiming the former Royal lied about her family during the tell-all with Oprah Winfrey.
Samantha has accused Meghan of creating a “false narrative” according to TMZ reports after she spoke of growing up in “virtual poverty” and having had to pay her way through her time at Northwestern University.Thomas Markle allegedly supported the 40 year old financially as a student Samantha has claimed in the documents and paid for her tuition at the institution, along with her attendance at other “elite and expensive private schools”.

You can sign up at the top of the page.The lawsuit also reportedly states from the half-sister that Meghan lied about how long its been since she’s seen her, mentioning in her interview with Oprah having last encountered each other “at least 18, 19 years ago and before that, 10 years.” Samantha claimed that the Duchess made up stories about herself and their father Thomas, 77, so that the pair “could not interfere with or contradict the false narrative and fairytale life [she] concocted”.
She has also said to have accused Meghan of messing up the sales for her autobiography The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister, leaving her in emotional distress according to reports.
