Matt Hancock's 'stalling tactics' rejected as Sacha Lord's legal battle to reopen pubs and restaurants is fast-tracked through the High Court

It will mean that Lord's case will progress and reach its next phase as soon as April 19. Health secretary Matt Hancock had today said that there was 'no proper basis for expedition', which Lord said was 'yet another stalling tactic'.

The Parklife boss and Greater Manchester's night time economy adviser has argued that there is no scientific evidence or justification for indoor hospitality spaces to remain closed for so much longer than indoor retail spaces.
