Two elderly people were left ‘distressed’ after three men wearing masks forced their way into their property demanding money.

Police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Bankhall Road in Heaton Mersey, Stockport, at around 6pm on Tuesday evening (November 23).

Their enquiries established that three men wearing masks had forcefully entered the property and demanded money from the elderly residents, who are in their 80s and 90s.
