dailyrecord.co.ukA major investigation has been launched following a serious assault and abduction in Paisley. Around 9.25pm on Thursday December 2, police were made aware of three men having been assaulted by a masked gang on Broomlands Street at Maxwellton Street.
One of the victims, a 21-year-old man, was then forced into the back of a dark grey BMW X3 around 9.50pm and driven to Langfaulds Cemetery on Baljaffray Road in Glasgow.
He was further assaulted and threatened as six male suspects stole cash and the victims mobile phone.The group fled the scene in the BMW X3, along with a black Audi TT.The victim received treatment for his injuries at hospital and was later released as officers are currently treating the incident as a targeted attack.Detectiv
