Mark Wright loved filming an epic road trip with his dad Big Mark and his footballer brother Josh Wright, but behind the show’s laugh-out-loud moments, lies secret heartache. “We’ve all been through a lot,” explains Mark. “My dad lost his brother [Eddie] in lockdown, and was seriously ill himself with Covid.

But that without a doubt was the biggest highlight.” This is the first show that Mark has done with his family and the series sees the Wrights like never before. The trio create new memories, but also confront the past leading to some emotional scenes. “We all open up and let our feelings out,” reveals Mark. “It's imperative to do it.
