Antony and Harry Maguire took part in Manchester United first-team training on Wednesday ahead of playing Barcelona. Erik ten Hag confirmed at his pre-match press conference that both players were expected to return for Thursday night's Europa League playoff clash at Old Trafford, which will decide who progresses to the next round of the competition.

Antony has missed the last four matches with a leg injury while Maguire was absent from the weekend's victory against Leicester with a knee problem, but both players are now set to be available to face Barcelona after returning to training. Academy graduates Kobbie Mainoo and Zidane Iqbal trained and are set to make the matchday squad again. Robin van Persie, who was present at Ten Hag's press conference, was also pitchside and watched the training session.
