Alejandro Garnacho got Manchester United supporters excited by netting a dramatic late winner against Barrow. Garnacho made his mark in the closing stages on Tuesday night as the next generation rubber-stamped Papa John's Trophy progression.
Following their comfortable victory over Carlisle in this season's opener, United made it two wins from two as Charlie McNeill and Garnacho settled the scores.
Jordan Stevens replied for the League Two side as penalties appeared to be looming at Holker Street. However, after tormenting his marker with several busy runs throughout the 90 minutes, Garnacho sensed a huge moment and snatched three points at the death with a devastating finish.
But there was also a telling contribution from academy coach Tom Huddlestone, who came off the bench to provide a defence-splitting assist.
