Manchester United coach Kieran McKenna is on the verge of becoming Ipswich Town's new manager. McKenna is set to leave Old Trafford to replace Paul Cook, who was jettisoned from the Portman Road hotseat after a goalless draw with League Two minnows Barrow AFC in the FA Cup earlier this month.
Brought into the first-team fold by former United boss Jose Mourinho, McKenna started his Carrington career in charge of the club's Under-18s in 2016 before his promotion.
