A young disabled Manchester United was 'hit by a coin' thrown from the crowd while attending his first game at Old Trafford, his dad says.

George Howe, 12, suffered a gash to the head after being struck by the missile while sat in the disabled stand during the second half of Thursday night's game against Arsenal.

His dad James Howe says the coin was thrown from the away stand above the disabled section. George, who has epilepsy, brain scarring and autism and suffers from seizures, was treated by medical staff at the ground before being checked out at A&E at Stepping Hill hospital in Stockport.
