Manchester City footballer Bernardo Silva has welcomed a “new family member” with his girlfriend Ines Degener Tomaz. The Blues midfielder, 28, announced his engagement to Portuguese model Ines, 24, in May this year, two months after welcoming French Bulldog John.

Silva named the pup in honour of his City teammate John Stones, who he has described as his “good friend”.
