Man safely rescued from roof of two-storey Northern Quarter museum

Emergency services were called to the corner of Newton Street and Faraday Street, in the Northern Quarter, shortly after 12pm.

There were reports of a man on the roof of the two-storey Greater Manchester Police Museum. Officers from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were on the scene for around 90 minutes, and brought the man down safely.
