Man left with life-threatening injuries after bus crash in city centre

A man has been left with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a bus in Manchester city centre. Specialist police officers are still at the scene around Whitworth Street where the incident took place last night (November 29).

Emergency services were called to reports of the road traffic collision near Piccadilly train station where a bus 'collided with' a man.

The man was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) after he was rescued from under the bus. His injuries are 'life-threatening'. A bus collided with a male pedestrian outside Piccadilly train station. "The man was released from under the bus and transported to MRI for treatment on his injuries, which are life-threatening.
