Man hauled before court over charge of failing to fill out passenger locator form on return to Manchester Airport

A man has been accused of breaking Covid regulations after returning to Manchester Airport from Finland. Darren John Lee, appeared in court in Wales today after being charged with failing to provide passenger information on the Passenger Locator form on arrival into England.

The man, from Rhyl in North Wales is said to have returned to the UK following a trip to Helsinki on January 23 this year, North Wales Live reports.

Llandudno Magistrates court heard today (22 June) that the alleged offence centres on the location of the passenger afterwards.

The justices heard Mr Lee, 57, is expected to deny the allegation and they adjourned his case for a possible trial.
