Manchester City could potentially be tempted to enter the transfer market in January as they continue their hunt for the Premier League and UEFA Champions League glory.

Man City have been in a three-way battle for the Premier League title so far with Liverpool and Chelsea and have a Champions League Round of 16 fixture to look forward to in 2022, when they face Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon over two games in February and March.

Pep Guardiola only made one addition to his squad in the summer transfer window ahead of the current season with Jack Grealish signing from Aston Villa for £100million, but with City's title rivals rumoured to be dipping into the January market, City could be tempted, too.
