Pep Guardiola has waxed lyrical about the versatility and commitment of Manchester City centre-back Nathan Ake, insisting the Dutchman is an option for the left-back berth moving forward.
Guardiola, who will watch his side face Club Brugge in their latest Champions League Group A match tomorrow evening, made the admission following Saturday's 2-0 triumph over Burnley at the Etihad Stadium.
Making five changes to the side that drew 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield prior to the international break, Guardiola opted to deploy Dutchman Ake at left-back, with Joao Cancelo moving across to right-back, following Guardiola's decision to leave Kyle Walker out of the starting line-up.
