Wigan, has now been charged with the commercial burglary of the store, police have revealed. In a statement, officers from Greater Manchester Police's Wigan West team said: "Christopher Hughes, of Cornwallis Road, Wigan, has been charged with commercial burglary at Asda Soho Street."The incident occurred on Friday, 13th November 2020, where he forced entry into a warehouse section and stole numerous grocery items and alcohol."The male also took a Royal British Legion poppy charity box containing money."Mr Hughes is due to appear at Wigan Magistrates Court today (December 4)..
