A man has been charged after the death of 18-year-old Marcus Simmons-Allen in Trafford. Connor Matthews, of Portland Road, Stretford, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The 22-year-old has been remanded into custody, police said. He will appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Monday). Emergency services attended and Marcus Simmons-Allen, from Altrincham, was taken to hospital, where he sadly died. Manchester's courts are some of the busiest in the country with a vast array of cases heard every week.
