Man arrested after drugs worth £100,000 seized from car on Scots motorway

A man has been arrested after £100,000 worth of drugs was seized from a car on one of Scotland's busiest motorways. Officers stopped a grey Ford S-MAX on the M74 on Tuesday morning.

The motor was travelling northbound and was pulled over just after 10am near Lockerbie, in Dumfries and Galloway. Police searched the car and found herbal cannabis inside.It's believed the class B haul has an estimated street value of £100,000.A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences.He is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Wednesday.Dumfries and Galloway Police Division assured locals they will continue to tackle drug crime in local communities.These efforts extend to motorways and road networks running through the area.A
