A man was taken to hospital after a stabbing in a shop in Trafford. Police and paramedics were called to the scene at the Go Local shop, on Great Stone Road in Old Trafford, at around 7.10pm last night (Tuesday).

A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital after a stabbing 'in the store', police said. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening and he remains in hospital today. A cordon was in place outside the shop last night with an evidence tent erected within the police tape. Witnesses said they saw a 'pool of blood' beside a small wall in front of the store.
