LucasFilm Provides an Update About Taika Waititi's 'Star Wars' Movie
justjared.comTaika Waititi‘s Star Wars project is taking a while. The 47-year-old director is working on a not-yet-titled Star Wars movie, and Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm president, is providing a candid update.
The writer-director is going “a little slow” with the project, she said. Keep reading to find out more… “He is working away,” Kathleen went on to say to TheWrap at Star Wars Celebration 2023 in London over the weekend. “He is just a little slow, but he’s working away.
And he’s very busy.” Lucasfilm first announced he would be directing and co-writing the film set on Star Wars Day in 2020. There are three newly announced films taking place in various eras across the franchise’s canonical timeline.
