Love Island fans have called Jay Younger “savage” as he swiped Paige Thorne from Jacques O'Neill in the latest recoupling. There was more drama in the villa on Friday evening for the latest recoupling, which saw the boys choose which girls they wanted to couple up with, potentially breaking up established couples in the process.

Jay had previously been coupled up with Ekin-Su but the pair’s relationship went into meltdown after Jay admitted he was thinking of getting to know Paige better.

As the Islanders all gathered around the fire pit together, Jay then explained his reasoning for choosing a new partner. The 28 year old said: "I've decided to couple up with this girl because I think she's beautiful.
