Love Island is set to make a return this summer with changes to its audition process. ITV bosses will ensure that 2021 hopefuls will undergo a number of psychological tests before appearing on the show.
The new measures have been introduced following the tragic deaths of former stars Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon, who both took their lives after appearing on the popular dating show.
Presenter Caroline Flack, also tragically ended her life last February after hosting the show for four years. Following the three tragic suicides, bosses have now drawn up a new contract which includes a tougher process for hopefuls wanting to sign up, The Sun has reported.
