Love Island fans are now just two sleeps away from the final episode, but one couple's time in the villa will be cut short before then.
In Friday's instalment on ITV2, Will Young and Jessie Wynter, Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins, and Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan were informed that they'd landed in the bottom three of the cast's vote for compatibility, meaning their dreams of snatching the £50,000 cash prize were in danger.
Now, a source has told The Sun that it's a fan-favourite couple who are given the boot by the public on Sunday evening. Following the initial result, Love Island fans couldn't quite believe that neither Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga, nor Tom Clare and Samie Elishi received any votes from their fellow Islanders. "You’re telling me no one voted for Shaq and Tanya??" read one tweet after these scenes had aired. "No one voted for shaq and tanya???
is everyone okay?" and "HOW did tanya and shaq and samie and tom get NO votes???" questioned two more viewers. Meanwhile, the previously on-the-rocks Will and Jessie had a beautiful time together this week in what marked their last date in the South African sunshine. They headed inside a decorated barn to engage in a toe-tapping barn dance, before toasting their blossoming romance.
