There’s nothing quite like a Love Island-inspired trend, and the latest one to come out of the villa gives us a whole new way to wear a bikini.

While you might be forgiven for thinking there’s only one way to put on a bikini top, the girls of Love Island 2023 are proving everyone wrong by coming up with new and creative ways to restyle the simple triangle top.

First made popular in last year's series when Antigoni Buxton was spotted wearing a turquoise bikini top upside down, this style has since been spotted on contestants in the villa this year including Tanya Manhenga and Jessie Winters, not to mention being donned by the Kardashian-Jenners last Summer.

Although it may not be immediately obvious, the upside down bikini trend actually makes your simple two piece a lot more versatile, and, according to Antigoni, a lot more flattering.
