Former Love Island star Shaughna Phillips has shared a heartwarming tribute to her late dad as she prepares to give birth. Shaughna, who appeared in the sixth season of the hit reality show in 2020, announced last year that she was expecting her first child with partner Billy Webb. The reality star revealed her due date, and just days before she is expected to give birth, Shaughna shared a touching tribute to her dad, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2016.The former Love Islander and influencer posted to her Instagram account on Friday with a photo of a red plaque that had been installed at Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium in London.

Shaughna captioned the photo: “Been waiting months for this to be installed, but it was worth the wait. I haven’t been to a game at the Emirates without my dad yet, but now his name will be at every home game, I know you would have loved this dad“.The plaque featured a touching tribute, reading: “Eddie Phillips, Husband & dad, Gooner forever, 1966-2006”.The plaque was installed at the football ground to commemorate her dad’s love of the sport and his support of Arsenal, with Shaughna often attending games with him.

Fans of the 28 year old influencer had been speculating about whether she’d already given birth, after she shared an update that she had gone into labour earlier in the month.

Earlier last week Shaughna had told fans she had spent the night in the hospital after thinking she was going to be induced as her due date grew closer, but was allowed to return home the next day, telling her followers: “Home now, baby still tucked up nicely, and waiting for nature to do its thang".
