Dumped Islander Olivia Hawkins has revealed that she cried "many times" in the Love Island villa – but said her tearful moments weren't shown on TV.

Her comments came as she addressed claims of "toxic femininity" on the show, after a domestic abuse charity spoke out. Olivia, 27, who was dumped from the Island with boyfriend Maxwell Samuda, 23, has hit back at claims that the female Islanders on the show were "toxic" as she said that arguments are "inevitable" inside the villa.

In dramatic scenes that aired earlier this month, Olivia and Maxwell were dumped from the Island after they were deemed the "least compatible couple" by viewers at home.

But Olivia was at the centre of plenty of drama in the show, including when she fumed at Kai Fagan for choosing to recouple with Sanam Harrinanan, despite Olivia herself recoupling with Max Samuda after Casa Amor.
