LOVE Island star Luca has slammed his love rival Billy - and made shocking claims that bosses BANNED him from speaking to Gemma Owen.

The fishmonger, 23, lifted the lid on private moments from inside the villa that were not aired on ITV2. Speaking on the Private Parts podcast with Jamie Laing, runner-up Luca explained he was warned off chatting up his now-girlfriend Gemma in the first five days of the show.

He said:"I tried to pull her for a chat on the second day and they [the producers] said 'you're not allowed to, Davide's just come in they need time to get to know each other'.

It was a storyline obviously. "They said 'we're doing this for you so you don't look like a player'. "In my head I'm thinking, the more I hold off the more she's going to get to know Davide.
