Love Island's Keanan Brand's life off screen including connection to former star
ok.co.ukLove Island's new bombshell Keanan Brand has the full backing of a former contestant. The professional rugby player arrived in the villa with new girl Rosie Seabrook to shake things up in the aftermath of Casa Amor and the dramatic movie night.
Throwing his support behind the 24-year-old, former Islander Jacques O' Neill commented on a recent picture of him: "Go on, laad." It's thought the two of them know each other from the rugby, with both of them playing for northern teams.
Jacques used to play for the Castleford Tigers before going onto ITV dating show last summer. He first found love with contestant Paige Thorne but left to protect his mental health.
Keanan, who is also good friends with Helen Skelton's ex Richie Myler, is currently contracted to the Leigh Leopards. Leigh confirmed they'll welcome him back with open arms when he leaves the villa, telling LoveRugbyLeague: "Leigh Leopards are all supporting Keanan during his love Island experience. "We are a progressive club, supporting and advising our players when opportunities present themselves.
