The singer-songwriter, who had been on the show for eight days before she was booted from the villa, has reassured worried viewers that the rugby star is doing well after the pair caught up on FaceTime.
Speaking exclusively to OK! at the Paul Strank Charitable Trust event in London, she said: “I spoke to him yesterday - I met his mum on FaceTime, she was lovely.
He seems like he’s in a really good place. It was just his time. I’m really proud of him for making that decision.” Concern has been mounting for Jacques, 23, since he tearfully quit the ITV2 show earlier this week after clashing with Adam Collard as the new bombshell tried to flirt with his partner, Welsh beauty Paige Thorne.
