Love Island's Ikenna insists they have known about Gemma's dad 'since second day'

From the beginning of 2022's Love Island series, many fans have been wondering when Gemma Owen will spill the beans on who her legendary football father is.

If you don't know, the 19 year old is the eldest child of former footballer Michael Owen. Whilst many viewers have believed that the Islanders still don't know about her famous relation, former contestant Ikenna Ekwonna, 23, revealed that the Islanders were aware of her dad from the "second or third day".

Speaking on Love Island's Aftersun, Ikenna told 37 year old host Laura Whitmore: "'We didn't really know until the second or third day but I don't think the girls knew the guys knew." Love Island has not revealed in the episodes that the Islanders are aware of who Gemma's father is.

Many fans took to Twitter to wonder if Luca was sticking by Gemma due to knowing that her dad is Michael Owen.
