During an interview for Women's Health UK magazine, of which she is on the cover for the latest issue, Ekin-Su discussed the positives and negatives of the social media ban for the latest contestants.
Prior to the winter series beginning in January, ITV announced that, for the first time ever, contestants' social media accounts would be temporarily disabled during their time on the show, in a bid to curb negative trolling.
Previously, Islanders' accounts would be handled by their friends and families, and Islanders would often leave the show with millions of followers, leading to lucrative contracts in the six-figures.
