father of a tragic Scots student who died in a car crash has had it returned to him through the power of social media.Twitter user @MarkIs888 found the two-sided piece honouring Ross Sloan outside Screwfix in Pollokshaws and appealed online for anyone to come forward.Stirling University student Ross died in a horror crash on the M80 in August 2017 aged just 21.The death of the popular Newton Mearns man led to an outpouring of tributes.The pendant features a picture of Ross on one side with 19.06.1996- 17.08.2017 and the words 'forever in our hearts'.Taking to Twitter yesterday, Mark wrote: "This is a long shot, but found this coin that probably means a lot to someone outside Pollokshaws screwfix, see if I can get it back to them?"The post.
