Frankie Bridge, 34, took to her Instagram stories where - in an open and honest post - the mum-of-two told fans that she wouldn’t be winning “the parent of the year award”.The post came after the former The Saturdays singer realised that she had “messed up” and accidentally missed her son’s cricket game.
In the clip, Frankie said: "Guess who's not winning the parent of the year award? Me." She continued: "So just come to pick up Carter, I did Loose Women this morning and managed to stop and get some food, all in time to come and pick up Carter and Wayne was going to pick Parker up, Wayne's got here and he's not here, he had a cricket match today." Frankie began seeing footballer Wayne in 2011, with the pair tying the knot in 2014, with the couple sharing sons Parker, nine, and Carter, seven.
The singer explained to her followers that usually she puts all of the matches onto the family calendar so that “we both know what’s going on” and “if one of us is going to be there”.
But today Frankie missed her son’s cricket match and she admitted that she felt “f*****g awful” and “super guilty”. She added: "Like I didn't even know my kid was at another school.
