Staff at Dogs Trust Lanarkshire are hoping two lonely lurchers will find their forever love this Valentine’s Day. Despite stealing the hearts of their canine carers, Tigger and Jax have still to meet their love match, so the team in Uddingston are determined to play cupid by shining a Valentine’s themed spotlight on the eligible batchelors.Lurchers were the third most popular breed rehomed by Dogs Trust last year with 527 finding loving new homes.

The four-year-old is a fun, friendly and energetic boy. Tigger has come on leaps and bounds with his training since being cared for at Dogs Trust and is always eager to learn.

He is longing for ‘the one’ - someone who is patient and kind, able to allow him the time to settle into a new home and who will help him continue to learn.
