Lockdown rules expected to ease in Scotland from as early as next week

The first part of the plan was implemented on February 22, when a number of primary school pupils returned to their studies.

And the second part looks set to begin from March 15. An easing of restrictions on gatherings outdoors and the resumption of non-contact outdoor group sports for kids are some of the changes expected to be made from next Monday.

The First Minister will address MSPs at Holyrood tomorrow afternoon to give details on the state of the pandemic in Scotland.
