Voters will be expected to wear face coverings and keep a distance from one another at polling stations, while polling booths will be sanitised throughout the day.

But what happens if you can't vote in person on the day? Rules in England state that anyone who tests positive for coronavirus, or comes into close contact with a positive case, is legally required to self-isolate for at least 10 days.
